Our Coaching Program is one of the most impactful development initiatives we run. Over a four-month period, each coachee works with a coach to build a personal competency-based Individual Development Plan (IDP). Using the GROW model, the coaching relationship helps them clarify goals, explore opportunities, and design practical steps for growth. The reasons for joining are varied: succession planning, leadership development, career progression, performance improvement, or preparing for change and new projects, but the outcome is the same: coachees gain capability, confidence, and direction for their future. Their learning path can include job shadowing, mentoring, formal training, self-study, or hands-on project experience, all chosen to suit their goals.

The program also delivers real value to our coaches. Guiding someone through a structured coaching process requires strong listening, thoughtful questioning, and a commitment to supporting another person’s journey. In doing so, coaches sharpen their own leadership skills, build empathy, and gain fresh insights into how others learn and succeed. Many find that the experience strengthens their ability to manage and inspire their teams. In this way, the Coaching Program builds not only individual capability but also a culture of learning, collaboration, and shared success across the organization.
